The Social Production of Habitat is thrilled to invite you on June 14th to the roundtable
"Promoting Community-led Housing Around the World"
with speakers from South Africa, El Salvador, Canada, Kenya, Senegal, Thailand, Uruguay, USA, Switzerland.

A myriad of community-led habitat initiatives organised in housing cooperatives, community land trusts and savings groups show that people are not the problem but the solution to building Cities BY and FOR their inhabitants.

Community-based organisations will address their achievements and challenges, and the inspiring solutions they are developing in different contexts around the world. This year, discussions will focus on inclusive public policies and solidarity mechanisms to support community-led housing, particularly the Solidarity Habitat Fund.
