Cross-border platform on urban development to empower citizens and territorial cohesio

The INTERREG project seeks to build long-term synergies and improve the communication between different stakeholders of urban development working at different levels in the region of Geneva (France and Switzerland).

Gathering the - future - professionals, public authorities, technicians and inhabitants, the project seeks to enhance partnerships and is based on a collaborative approach with the aim to disseminate issues and good practices in the cross-border region of Geneva, particularly regarding collaborative/community-led housing.

Additionally, urbaMonde intervenes in the university course CAS urban project and empowerment with the aim to support the emergence of new knowhow and professional skills necessary for developing complex collaborative projects. The course concretely addresses the case study of the special development zone ZAC Etoile in Annemasse (France).
